I grew up in Central NY during the 60's and 70's. What a great time to be a teenager ! The city of Syracuse had a great local music scene for it's size. American Jazz and Blues of the 50's quickly evolved into Rock 'n' Roll... eggs were hatched and soon Doo Wop, Motown, British Invasion, Punk, Disco and more made up what I now call "Classic Rock" Professional training on Sax and theory along with a natural talent for vocals and self-taught Guitar laid the groundwork for pursuing my passion.
I currently live and work in the Charlotte, NC area as a singer/songwriter but often return home to visit and play gigs. With over 40 years experience performing: from small clubs, Restaurants, breweries, wineries, to large Banquet Halls and concert venues: sharing the stage with Fleetwood Mac, Steppenwolf, Slade, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Spencer Davis, The Grass Roots, Pete Best, Joey Molland, Terry Sylvester, and more; certainly no stranger to live and studio recording...... I have no regrets, much to be proud of, and more to accomplish.
I take pride in being a multi-instrumentalist although I know my strengths are Vocals and Saxophone. I'm doing many Solo gigs now and working out with 2 band line ups. I'm blessed to have worked with so many great musicians. Born to play music, to get foots tapping, bodies dancing, voices singing along; I want to play your favorite song when you least expect it, to bring back a fond memory. I want you to experience how recording artists of the 60's & 70's have influenced my own song writing. You'll never find anyone that doesn't like music. It brings joy and takes the edge off of life.
